We are developing several exciting initiatives that will benefit the region in the future. Committed to fostering environmental awareness, we provide education and training programs that help people build valuable skills and transition into meaningful employment. Additionally, we support other organisations by contributing goods and providing grant funding to further strengthen our community.

Every Bite is a month-long facilitated programme, where you will carry out simple experiments at home to better understand and prevent your food waste.

Community Resource Recovery Centres
The Seagull Centre supports many of the local Coromandel Peninsula communities with resource recovery.
As part of the Seagull Centre 2024 strategic plan we decided to move into a national advocacy role and joined with the Zero Waste Network to establish a Container Return Scheme in Aotearoa.
